About Cache
An abandoned industrial zone in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Created by FMPONE and Volcano, it was the first community-made map ever added to Active Duty, beloved for its clean sightlines and the legendary mid-to-z connector battles. The Cache in CS2 today is not FMPONE's Workshop rework, though: Valve bought the rights in 2025 and built its own Source 2 version, which returned to Active Duty in July 2026 after seven years away.
